Senior Jeff Young has been named CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, September 16.

The Political Science major led the Cavaliers to a fourth place finish Saturday at the Cumberland County College Dukes Invitational.   Young led the Blue and White with a 12th place finish of an overall time of 18:48 in the 5K race.

In each of the first three meets this season, Young has finished in the top 24 positions.  He has also been Cabrini’s top finisher in all three of the meets this season.   

Young and the men’s and women’s cross country team will take to the course on Saturday when they head to Belmont Plateau in Fairmont Park for the Philadelphia Metro Classic beginning at 12:00 p.m.
