Cabrini men’s lacrosse student-athlete Corey Elmer has been named CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, April 7. The junior led the Blue and White to a pair of wins with 17 points.
In Wednesday's conference season-opening 25-5 win at Centenary College, Elmer totaled eight points on two goals and a career high six assists. The junior followed that with his second nine point game of the season, tallying a career high seven goals and two helpers in the Blue and White's 13-8 win over then No. 12 Denison University.
On the season, Elmer leads the Cavaliers with 50 total points, including 26 goals and 24 assists. He also ranks second
in the CSAC in points, third in assists and four the in goals. Elmer also ranks 12th in the nation 5.0 points per game and 22nd in assist per game with 2.4.
Elmer and the No. 8 Cavaliers will return to action tonight as they host the Rosemont College Ravens. Game time is slated for 6:30 p.m. at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
