Senior Rob Bass has been named CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, April 27, after leading the Cavaliers to the 2014 Colonial States Athletic Conference championship.
Bass shot matching rounds of 73 at Lebanon Country Club to finish the two-day event with a total score of +4, 146, to finish atop the weekend’s leaderboard. The senior closed Friday’s opening round with a three stroke lead that expanded to six strokes after Saturday’s second round.
Bass joins a trio of Cavaliers who took the individual title for five consecutive season. Chris Lawler earned the title in 2008, 2009 and 2010, while Greg Verde took the crown in 2011 and Chris Sarvadi in 2012.
