RADNOR, Pa. - Sophomore softball student-athlete Kiley Sharp has been named the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week, for the week ending Sunday, March 1.

Last week, Sharp led the Blue and White to a 2-4 week in Clermont, Fla. to open its 2015 campaign. The sophomore went 2-1 on the mound, earning wins over Lebanon Valley and College of Saint Benedict.Â

Sharp posted an era of 2.33, allowing just five earned runs on 15 innings pitched.
In a 2-1 season-opening win over Lebanon Valley, the sophomore pitched a near shutout, surrendering five hits and one run in seven innings.
Sharp followed that with another strong outing, allowing one run in four innings, in part of a 10-1 win over CSB.

The Blue and White will host Penn State Brandywine in a doubleheader on March 18 at Cabrini Field. The day's first game is set for a 3 p.m. start.
