Freshman point guard Cory Lemons powered the Cavaliers to two wins in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play, averaging 24.5 point, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.

Lemons scored 24 points and claimed six rebounds in Cabrini’s 73-70 victory versus CSAC opponent Immaculata University Feb. 11. He shot 8-for-15 from the floor overall and 7-of-8 from the free throw line in the win.

Lemons followed up that performance with a 25-point, seven-rebound and seven-assist effort in a 91-77 triumph against Marywood University less than two days later on Feb. 13. He knocked down 12-of-16 field goal tries and committed zero turnovers.

Lemons was named to the CSAC Honor Roll Monday. This marks his second CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the 2009-10 season.

Lemons is sixth nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.26) in all games played through Feb. 7. He scored 10 points, handed out five helpers and went turnover-less in the Cavaliers’ 93-86 win versus CSAC-rival Gwynedd-Mercy College.
