Junior libero Courtney Abel led the Cabrini volleyball team to a 1-1 record last week, tallying a team-high 40 digs and 5.71 digs per set.

In the Cavaliers’ 3-1 win against Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Centenary College on Oct. 16, Abel posted a club-best 21 digs, including the 1,000th of her career. She notched 19 digs in a 3-0 loss at Moravian College on Oct. 14.

With five matches remaining in the regular season, Abel leads the Blue & White with 314 digs and ranks second with 4.03 digs per set. She received CSAC Second Team distinction in 2009.
