Senior Joe Strain earned most valuable player honors in the championship game of the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Tournament against Marywood University on May 7.

Strain helped the Cavaliers to a 9-6 victory versus the Pacers and their 11th straight CSAC title, winning 6-of-10 face-off attempts and scooping a team-best six groundballs. He won 5-of-7 draws in a fourth quarter that saw the game tied, 9-9, with just over nine minutes remaining.

Strain has played in 55 career games with the Blue & White and owns a .580 career face-off win percentage. He has totaled 182 career face-off victories, ranking fourth in program history. Strain has also recorded 23 career points on 16 goals and seven assists.
