RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini women's tennis team has won three of its last four Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) matches following an 8-1 victory against Immaculata University Tuesday at the Dixon Courts. Freshman Gabriela Durand pushed her singles win streak to seven matches against the Mighty Macs.
Durand notched a commanding 6-0, 6-0 victory at the No. 3 position against Amanda Dahlquist, improving her overall record to 10-1 and CSAC mark to 8-1.
Sophomore Michelle Lettmann also logged a resounding 6-0, 6-0 win at the No. 2 spot against Kelsey Piliero. Lettmann has won four straight singles matches, bettering her overall record to 8-6 and conference mark to 6-3.
Sophomore Alexis DiCamillo cruised to 6-3, 6-1 triumph at the lead-off position against Erika LaMarch. After opening the season with five straight losses, DiCamillo has rebounded to win six of her last nine singles matches and now owns a 6-3 record versus CSAC opponents.
Sophomore Kourtney Spak earned a 6-3, 3-6, 10-5 win at the No. 4 spot against Felicia Thomas, winning her second singles contest of the season. Sophomore Bridget Killen also emerged victorious in singles, posting an 8-4 victory at the No. 5 position versus Kaitlyn O'Donnell.
The Cavaliers rolled into singles competition after having swept each of the three doubles matches. DiCamillo and Durand led the charge, winning 8-0 at the No. 1 position against LaMarch and Thomas.
Lettmann and Spak notched an 8-2 triumph at No. 2 versus Dahlquist and O'Donnell. Killen and sophomore Melizza Kahn totaled an 8-1 win over Brittany Foster and Renae Padamonsky.
Cabrini (4-10, 4-5) plays its last non-conference match of the regular season Thursday, October 8 on the road against Richard Stockton College at 3 p.m. The Cavaliers concluded their CSAC slate Wednesday, October 14 at Baptist Bible College at 3 p.m.
