GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Cabrini women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss at Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Gwynedd-Mercy College Saturday.

The Griffins carried a 3-0 advantage into singles play after sweeping doubles competition. Sophomore Alexis DiCamillo and freshman Gabriela Durand dropped a narrow 8-5 decision at the No. 1 position versus Erin Fallon and Davida Phillips.

In singles, sophomore Michelle Lettmann sustained a 6-4, 7-5 setback at the No. 2 position against Fallon. Freshman Gabriela Durand suffered her first singles loss of the season, dropping a 6-1, 7-6 (7-0) decision at No. 3 versus Jessica Scarpello.

Cabrini (0-7, 0-3) returns to the courts and continues its CSAC schedule Monday, September 21 at Marywood University. Match time is set for 3:30 p.m.
