SCRANTON, Pa. – The Cabrini women's tennis dropped a 7-2 decision at Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Marywood University, 7-2, Monday afternoon. Sophomore Alexis DiCamillo and freshman Gabriela Durand each emerged victorious in singles competition.

DiCamillo posted a 6-3, 4-6, 10-6 victory at the No. 1 position versus Ashley Karli. She improves her record to 2-2 in singles play against CSAC opponents.

Durand notched her fourth win of the season and third in conference play, downing Beth Schneider, 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 3 position.

The Pacers set the tone for the match with three wins in singles play. DiCamillo and Durand suffered a narrow 8-6 setback at No. 1 versus Karli and Kara Hoff.

Cabrini (0-8, 0-4) returns home Thursday, September 24 against CSAC opponent Keystone College at 3:30 p.m.
