ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Cabrini women's tennis team neared the conclusion of its non-conference schedule Saturday, falling 8-1 at Lebanon Valley College. Freshman Gabriela Durand won her team-best sixth singles match of the season in the loss.
Durand convincingly topped Tamera Lobb, 6-0, 6-2, at the No. 3 position. She is 6-1 overall and 4-1 against opponents from the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) in singles competition this season.
Sophomore Kourtney Spak took Caitlin Bedford to three sets, but suffered a 4-6, 6-3, 10-6 loss at the No. 4 spot.
Cabrini (1-9, 1-4) resumes its CSAC schedule Tuesday, September 30 at Philadelphia Biblical University. First serve is set for 3:30 p.m.
