ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Cabrini women's tennis team has won each of its last three matches following an 8-1 victory at Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Rosemont College on Saturday afternoon. Junior Alexis DiCamillo and sophomore Gabriela Durand each posted their 11th singles wins of the season for the Cavaliers in the victory.
Durand cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 win at the No. 2 position against Karis Coad. DiCamillo tallied a 6-0, 6-4 victory at the No. 3 spot versus Kayla Coad.
Junior Michelle Lettmann is also in double figures in singles victories, topping Barbara Lally at the No. 4 position, 6-0, 6-1, for her 10th.
Freshman Adriana Scotto totaled her eighth win of the season, knocking off Latifah Edwards at No. 5, 6-0, 6-0. Freshman Victoria Nastala also won her eighth by virtue of a Rosemont default.
Durand and Scotto set the match's tone in doubles play, rolling to an 8-2 triumph at the No. 2 position against Kayla Coad and Lally. Freshman Katie Kennedy and DiCamillo logged a 9-8 (7-3) win at the No. 1 spot against Olesya Kuchma and Karis Coad.
Lettmann and Nastala earned a default win at the No. 3 match.
Cabrini (11-2, 6-1) continues its CSAC regular season slate at Cedar Crest College on Tuesday, Oct. 5. Match time against the Falcons is set for 3:30 p.m.
