Men's Tennis Stumbles at Baptist Bible College in CSAC Debut

The Cabrini men's tennis team remains in search of its first win of the 2010 season following a 9-0 loss at Baptist Bible College in its Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) season opener.

Senior Andrew Golden played at the No. 5 position in singles play and battled to a 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) setback against Aaron McCauley. Freshman Joseph Stafford dropped a 6-4, 7-5 decision versus Zachary Tornow at the No. 6 spot.

Justin Lutteroty fell 6-2, 6-3 against Matthew Benjamin in the No. 4 position. Freshman Shane McKeon suffered a 6-2, 6-2 loss at the No. 3 spot versus Aaron Hixson.

The Defenders also swept the Cavaliers in doubles action.

Cabrini (0-3, 0-1) returns to its non-conference schedule on Monday, March 29 at Alvernia University. Match time against the Crusaders is set for 3:30 p.m.
