RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini men's tennis team continued its Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) regular season schedule on Wednesday afternoon against Neumann University at the Dixon Courts. The Knights rolled to a 9-0 victory versus the Cavaliers.
Neumann jumped to a 3-0 match advantage with a sweep in doubles competition. Cabrini sophomore Walter Jesuncosky and freshman Jake Neary stumbled at the No. 1 position, dropping an 8-2 decision against Chris Brown and Dan Harnos.
Senior Andrew Golden and sophomore Justin Lutteroty suffered an 8-1 setback at No. 2 versus Greg Bridgeman and Brian Crispin. Freshmen Shane McKeon and Joseph Stafford fell at the No. 3 position, 8-0, against Greg Christiansen and Abe Joseph.
McKeon, Neary, Lutteroty and Golden landed on the wrong end of 6-1, 6-1 decisions in singles play at the No. 2 – 5 spots, respectively. Jesuncosky suffered a 6-1, 6-0 setback in the lead-off position.
Cabrini (0-4, 0-2) continues its CSAC regular season slate on Thursday, April 8 at Gwynedd-Mercy College. Match time against the Griffins is set for 4 p.m.
