Men's Tennis Concludes 2010 Season with Loss Against Immaculata University

The Cabrini men's tennis team completed its 2010 season on Saturday at home versus CSAC opponent Immaculata University.

The Cabrini men's tennis team concluded its 2010 season on Saturday afternoon against Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Immaculata University. The Mighty Macs earned a 9-0 win against the Cavaliers.

Immaculata jumped out to a 3-0 advantage with a sweep in doubles competition. Junior Joseph Stafford and sophomore Justin Lutteroty battled to an 8-6 loss for the Blue & White in the No. 2 position against Eric Schmidt and Demetrios Vlahos.

Sophomores Walter Jesuncosky and Jake Neary suffered a narrow 8-5 loss in the No. 1 spot versus David Harlan and Nick Tarlecki.

In singles play, Jesuncosky dropped a three-set decision in the No. 1 position against Tarlecki, falling 4-6, 7-5, 10-9. Senior Andrew Golden also went three sets before suffering a 4-6, 6-4, 10-4 loss in the No. 5 spot against Mike Pancoast.

Lutteroty dropped a 6-3, 6-0 match in the No. 2 position versus Harlan. Neary landed on the wrong end of a 6-3, 6-2 decision in the No. 3 hole against Vlahos.

Freshman Shane McKeon lost in the No. 4 spot, 6-2, 6-1, against Schmidt.

The Cabrini men's tennis team wraps up the 2010 season with a 1-10 record overall and 1-6 mark in CSAC competition.
