GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Cabrini women's tennis team continued its early-season success on Monday afternoon, blanking Commonwealth Conference opponent Arcadia University, 9-0. The Cavaliers have captured each of the last 18 matches in their last two outings.

Cabrini opened the match with two out-rights wins in doubles play. Junior Alexis DiCamillo and sophomore Gabriela Durand paired for an 8-4 victory at the No. 1 position, while junior Michelle Lettmann and freshman Victoria Nastala posted an 8-1 win at the No. 2 spot.

Arcadia forfeited the No. 3 position in doubles action.

Durand started the Blue & White in the right direction in singles action, earning a 6-1, 6-1 victory at the No. 1 position versus Megan Gillespie. DiCamillo notched a 6-1, 6-3 win at the No. 2 spot against Sophia Japhet.

Freshman Adriana Scotto recorded a 6-0, 6-0 triumph in the No. 3 hole versus Leanna Laporte. Lettmann, Nastala and freshman Katie Kennedy did not compete in singles play due to forfeits on the Arcadia side.

Cabrini (6-0, 3-0) continues its non-conference schedule on the road versus Centennial Conference opponent Haverford College on Wednesday, Sept. 15. Match time is set for 4 p.m.
