GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Cabrini College women's tennis team dropped its CSAC finale today a Gwynedd-Mercy College by a score of 5-4. The Cavaliers end their CSAC regular season schedule with a record of 8-2 and fall to 11-2 overall.
Cabrini found itself in an early hole after winning just one of the three doubles matches. Senior
Alexis DiCamillo and freshman
Samantha Trumbo picked up the Cavaliers' only doubles win 8-3 in the number two flight.

Katie Kennedy and
Adriana Scotto suffered their first loss of the year 8-0. Senior
Michelle Lettmann and sophomore
Victoria Nastala lost 7-2 in a tie-breaker.
The singles matches did not turn in Cabrini's favor, as the teams split the six singles matches.
Lettmann won the number three singles match in straight sets, while Scotto and Trumbo won the flights four and five matches, respectively. Scotto triumphed 4-6, 6-3, 7-5. Trumbo took her match 10-7 in the third set.
All three of the Blue and White's losses came in straight sets. Kennedy lost for the first time this season at number one singles 6-3, 6-1. DiCamillo (#2) and Nastala (#6) fell 6-2, 6-0 and 6-2, 6-4, respectively.
The Cavaliers have now dropped their last two matches, both to CSAC competition, after starting the season will 11 consecutive wins.
They will try to get back on the winning side on Monday when they face Richard Stockton College in Pomona, N.J. First serve is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
