EASTON, Pa. - The Cabrini men's tennis team had its 2010-11 season come to a close on Friday morning following a 5-0 loss against Marywood University in the semifinal round of the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Tournament. The Pacers swept doubles play before closing the match out with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 in singles competition.
MU opened the match with identical 8-2 wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 matches in doubles. Cabrini senior

Jake Neary battled to an 8-4 loss at No. 3 versus Ethan Jones and Frank Nicolosi.
In singles competition, the matches at No. 1, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 went unfinished after Todd Doran downed junior
Walter Jesuncosky at No. 2 (6-0, 6-0) and Daniel Pfafman bested junior
Nate Martin at the No. 3 position (6-1, 6-1).
The victory advances Marywood (13-3) to the championship match of the CSAC Tournament set for tomorrow.
The Cabrini loss marks the closing of Stafford's career. Stafford played two seasons with the Cavaliers and closed out his senior campaign with two wins in singles action.
The Cabrini men's tennis team, under the direction of ninth-year head coach Rich Aldrete, finish the 2010-11 season with a 5-13 overall record.
