ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Cabrini College women's tennis team was pushed to the brink on Tuesday, but eventually defeated Lebanon Valley College 5-4 to remain unbeaten on the season. Their record now stands at 5-0.
The #1 doubles pairing of sophomores
Katie Kennedy and
Adriana Scotto improved their season record to 4-0 with an 8-4 doubles win.
Cabrini's number two team of senior
Alexis DiCamillo and junior
Gabriela Durand dropped their first matches of the season 8-3, as did the #3 pair of senior
Michelle Lettmann and freshman
Samantha Trumbo by a score of 8-6.
Cabrini got the four singles wins it needed to claim victory in the match from Kennedy (#1), Lettmann (#3), Scotto (#4), and Trumbo (#6). Each player remained undefeated on the season.
The ladies will return to the court on Saturday when they travel to Aston, Pa. to face Neumann University in CSAC action at 12:00 p.m.
