RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini College men's tennis team closed its Fall season with a 9-0 loss to the visiting Alvernia University Crusaders today at the Dixon Courts.  The Cavaliers close the Fall with a 0-4 record.

The Crusaders put Cabrini in a hole early, as they captured all three doubles matches.  Senior Ian Monson and sophomore Anthony DiCicco lost 8-4 in their No. 1 doubles contest.  At No. 2 doubles, junior John Giovanelli and freshman Colin Kilroy fell 8-1.  Senior Abui Santos and freshman Danton Moyer played at the No. 3 flight, losing 8-4.
   
The Blue and White looked to mount a comeback in the singles matches, but Alvernia was up to the task.  Monson lost his No. 1 singles match 6-1, 6-0.  DiCicco's No. 2 singles contest ended with a 6-1, 6-2 loss.

Giovanelli stumbled 6-4, 6-2 at the No. 3 flight.  Kilroy and Moyer lost their matches 6-1, 6-0 at Nos. 4 and 5 singles, respectively.  Santos rallied after dropping the first set 6-0, to even his No. 6 match with a 6-3 win in the second set, before falling 10-8 in the tie breaker.

Cabrini will return to the court in the Spring semester for their traditional season.
