RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini College men's swimming team opened the home portion of its 2012-13 schedule with a pair of losses today. The Cavaliers fell to Hood College 74-21 and Pitt-Bradford 70-25. The losses drop the Blue and White's record to 1-3 on the young season.
Junior
Keith Marr won his first career event today, capturing the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.25. The junior added a second place finish in the 200-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 1:55.02.
Marr also swam the final leg in the 200-yard medley relay, joining junior
Brandon Mazepa, sophomore
Evan Strickland and freshman
Chris Ryan to finish 3rd in the event.
Strickland added a 3rd place finish in the 200-yard individual medley (2:09.11) and a 2nd place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.16) to his afternoon.

Sean Tallon, sophomore
Cody Kunze, junior
Tim McCann and Ryan closed the meet with a 3rd place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:42.75.
Hood College also defeated Pitt-Bradford 50-45.
The Cavaliers will return to the pool on Thursday as they travel to Glassboro, N.J. to face Rowan University. The action is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.
