ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Cabrini College women's tennis team rebounded from Friday's loss to sweep the Cedar Crest College Falcons 9-0 in Colonial States Athletic Conference play.  The victory evens the Cavaliers' record at 6-6, while moving them to 6-3 in the CSAC with one conference match remaining.  

The Blue and White dominated the three doubles matches, losing just four points in the three matches.  The duo of junior Katie Kennedy and freshman Nicole Broccolino improved to 4-0 in CSAC play with an 8-3 win at No. 1 singles.  

Junior Victoria Nastala paired with sophomore Samantha Trumbo at No. 2 doubles for the 8-1 victory. In the No. 3 match, freshmen Mia Scocozzo and Mackenzie Murray won their fourth league match of the season 8-0.

The Blue and White carried the momentum fro the doubles matches into singles play.  Kennedy won her 10th singles match of the season, posting a 6-0, 6-1 win a No. 1 singles.  Trumbo and Nastala improved to 5-4 in conference play with their straight set victories at No. 2 and 3 singles, respectively.

After dropping her first set at the No. 4 flight, Murray rallied to take their third set 10-8, improving her record to 6-2 in CSAC singles matches.  Scocozzo and and freshman Kaitlyn Zinkewich also posted straight set victories at No. 5 and 6 singles to complete the sweep.

The Cavaliers will step out of conference play on Tuesday as they host Bryn Mawr College.  First serve is scheduled for 3:45 p.m. at the Dixon Courts.
