READING, Pa. - The Cabrini College men's swim team had its two meet win streak snapped tonight as the Cavaliers fell at Albright College 113-57. The Blue and White's record now stands at 3-5.
Junior
Keith Marr and sophomore
Evan Strickland led the way for Cabrini with a second and third place finish each. Marr finished second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:55.31. The junior also posted a third place finish in the 100-yard freestyle, with a time of 51.64.
Strickland placed second in the 100-yard freestyle in 50.41 seconds. The sophomore also recorded a third place finish in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing the race in 22.51 seconds.
Junior Rocco Del Monte recorded a second place finish in the 100-yard butterfly, touching the wall in 57.04 seconds. Sophomore
Nick Platt added a third place finish in the 100-yard backstroke, posting a time of 1:05.96.
The team of Platt, Strickland, Del Monte and Marr also recorded a 1:44.32 in the 200-yard medley relay to finish second.
The Cavaliers will break from competition for nearly two weeks. They will return to action on Wednesday, November 28 when they face Arcadia University at Bryn Mawr College. The action is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.
