LA PLUME, Pa. – The Cabrini College men's tennis team improved to 5-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference with today's 7-2 win at Keystone College. The victory keeps the Blue and White in a tie with Marywood University atop the CSAC standings.
The Cavaliers posted two dominant doubles performances. The senior duo of
Justin Lutteroty and
Ian Monson improved to 4-1 in conference action with an 8-1 win at number two doubles.
Senior
Nate Martin and junior
Ryan Juhring remained perfect in the number three flight after today's 8-0 win.
Cabrini also captured five of the six singles matches. In the number one slot, freshman
Anthony DiCicco posted his first back-to-back match wins of the year after today's 6-2, 6-3 victory.
Monson's 6-4, 6-2 win in number two singles improved the senior to 2-3 in conference action.
Martin, Lutteroty and Juhring, Cabrini's numbers four, five and six singles players, continued their perfect play in CSAC singles matches. Today's straight set wins improve the group to a combined 15-0 against CSAC opposition.
The Blue and White will travel to Wilkes-Barre, Pa. on Sunday to face King's College in nonconference competition. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
