ST. DAVID, Pa. –
The Cabrini College men's tennis team fell to Eastern University 5-4 in a match that lasted two days.

Due to yesterday's rain, only the doubles matches were played, with the singles matches taking place today at Eastern.

The Cavaliers fell behind after taking just one of the three doubles matches.  The senior duo of Ian Monson and Justin Lutteroty have now won four of their last five matches after yesterday's 9-7 win at #2 doubles.

The Blue and White split the singles matches, but it wasn't enough to capture the nonconference win.

After dropping the first set 6-3, senior Walter Jesuncosky rallied to take his number three singles match 7-5 in the third set.

Lutteroty improved to 9-8 in singles play with a dominating 6-0, 6-0 performance in the number five singles match.

Junior Ryan Juhring's overall record now stands at 7-2 in the number six flight after taking his number six singles match 8-5 in a superset.

The Cavaliers will return to Colonial States Athletic Conference action tomorrow, when they welcome Rosemont College to the Cabrini Courts.  First serve is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
