BALTIMORE, Md. – The Cabrini College women's tennis team accomplished something special with its 9-0 win at Notre Dame (Md.).  Not only did the ladies even their record at 2-2, but more importantly, they handed head coach John Magee his 100th career victory.

The victory improves the Blue and White to 2-2 in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play this season.

In his ninth year as Cabrini's head coach, Magee now boasts a 100-39 overall record, including 74-12 against CSAC opposition.  Magee has led the Blue and White to eight league championship matches, capturing four crowns.

The Cavaliers wasted little time in displaying its dominance, taking all three doubles matches by 8-0 scores.  Cabrini's number one doubles team of junior Katie Kennedy and freshman Nicole Broccolino improved to 3-0.

Cabrini's second and third doubles teams made a line-up switch, but the teams didn't miss a beat.  Junior Victoria Nastala and sophomore Samantha Trumbo joined forces for the win at #2 doubles, while freshmen Mia Scocozzo and Mackenzie Murray paired for their first win.

Cabrini continued its solid play into the singles matches.  Kennedy, Scocozzo and Murray won their matches at first, fifth and sixth singles, respectively, without dropping a game.

Broccolino dropped the first set at #4 singles, before rallying to take the match in a third set tiebreaker.  In the #2 and #3 flights, Trumbo and Nastala captured straight set victories.

The Blue and White will step out of CSAC play on Tuesday when they host Richard Stockton College.  First serve is scheduled for 3:30 at the Dixon Courts.
