GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Cabrini College women's tennis team fell to 4-4 on the season after falling at Arcadia University 7-2.

The Blue and White fell behind early, as they captured just one of the three doubles matches.  The freshman duo of Mia Scocozzo and Mackenzie Murray improved to 2-1 with their 8-4 win at number three doubles.  

In the top flight, junior Victoria Nastala and sophomore Samantha Trumbo lost 8-0.  Freshmen Nicole Broccolino and Kaitlyn Zinkewich lost their first match together 8-1.

Zinkewich then rallied to secure Cabrini's only point in the singles competition, winning her number six singles match.  The rookie's 6-3, 6-3 victory is the first of her collegiate career.

The Cavaliers will return to action on Wednesday as they welcome Lebanon Valley College to campus.  First serve is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at the Dixon Courts.
