RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini men's tennis team closed its Fall 2013 schedule this afternoon with a 9-0 loss to the visiting Arcadia University Knights.  The loss drops the Cavaliers to 0-3 on the season.

Arcadia took control of the match during doubles play.  Cabrini's number one pair of junior Anthony DiCicco and freshman Mike Halbherr and the number two duo of freshman Joe Pacifico and sophomore Colin Kilroy lost their matches by matching 8-2 scores.  At number three doubles, senior Don Irons and junior Peter Seid fell 8-1.

The Cavaliers looked the reverse the match's momentum as the action turned to the singles matches, but it wasn't to be.  DiCicco stumbled in the number on flight match 6-3, 6-4.  Pacifico lost his number two singles match 6-2, 6-1.  At number six singles, Irons fell 6-3, 6-3.  Kilroy, Halbherr and Seid dropped their numbers three, four and five matches 6-0, 6-0.

The Cavaliers will not play again until their Spring season, which is slated to open on March 19, when the Blue and White visits Penn State – Brandywine.
