IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Cabrini College men's tennis team opened its 2012-13 Spring schedule this afternoon with a 7-2 loss at Immaculata University.  The Cavaliers are still seeking their first win of the year and fell to 0-1 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.

The Blue and White fell behind early, as it captured just one of the three doubles matches.  The duo of senior Ryan Juhring and sophomore Anthony DiCicco secured the victory at No. 2 doubles with an 8-6 win.  The team of seniors Ian Monson and Abui Santos and junior Joe Halberr and freshman Colin Kilroy dropped their No. 1 and No. 3 doubles matches by similar 8-1 verdicts.

Cabrini did not fare much better as the day turned to the singles matches, taking just one of the six.  DiCicco secured the Blue and White's only win with an exciting three set affair.  After dropping the first set 6-4, the sophomore rallied to take the second 6-4, before winning the third set tie breaker 10-5.

The Cavaliers will return to action on Saturday as they welcome Baptist Bible College to the Cabrini Courts.   First serve is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
