ASTON, Pa. – The Cabrini men's tennis team fell to 2-4 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference and 3-11 overall after today's 7-2 loss at Neumann University.
The Cavaliers couldn't change the tide of the match in singles play. Sophomore
Sean Neary secured the team's only singles point, winning his first career match 8-6 at No. 5 singles.
After winning the first set 6-2, Monson lost the next two 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 1 singles match. DiCicco lost just his second CSAC singles match, 6-3, 6-2. Juhring dropped his No. 3 flight match 7-6, 6-4.
Like Monson, Santos took the first set 7-5, before losing 6-4, 6-2 in the final two sets. Freshman
Colin Kilroy suffered a 6-4, 6-2 loss in the No. 6 match.
Cabrini will close its regular season on Monday when they welcome Gwynedd-Mercy College to the Cabrini Courts. First serve is slated for 4:00 p.m.
