RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini women's tennis team improved to 2-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference with today's 9-0 win over the visiting Cedar Crest College Falcons. The victory evens the Blue and White's record to 2-2 overall.
The Cavaliers got off to a great start, winning all three doubles matches. Senior

Nicole Broccolino improved to 3-0 on the season with today's 8-2 win at number one doubles. Junior
Samantha Trumbo and sophomore
Mia Scocozzo paired for an 8-5 victory at number two doubles, while senior
Victoria Nastala and freshman
Elena Conway teamed for an 8-0 win in the third doubles match.
Cabrini's solid play continued into the singles matches, as the Blue and White tallied straight set victories in five of the six matches. Kennedy and Conway led the way, surrendering just one of 13 games in their number one and number four singles matches. Broccolino rallied from a 6-1 loss in the opening set to take the match 10-4 in the third set.
Trumbo scored a 6-1, 6-2 win at number three singles. Sophomore
Mackenzie Murray captured the number five singles match 6-3, 6-1, while Nastala took the number six match 6-2, 6-1.
The Cavaliers will return to action on Thursday when they host Arcadia University (2-0). First serve is slated for 3:30 p.m.
