SCRANTON, Pa. – Though she didn't score for the first 42 minutes of the game, junior
Kristina Startare came through in the clutch, connecting on a pair of three pointers in overtime and assisting on another to give Cabrini a 62-61 win over Richard Stockton College at the University of Scranton Poinsettia Classic.
With the win, the Cavaliers extended their current win streak to five games and improved to 5-2 on the season.
Senior
Amber Keys led the Blue and White with her fifth double double of the season, pairing 23 points and 15 rebounds, and matched a career best with five blocked shots.
Junior
Dana Peterson added a career high 16 points, to go with five rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocked shots.

Megan Decker tallied eight points, eight rebounds and five steals, while junior
Meghan Martin added seven points and four assists.
This afternoon's action was nip and tuck through the entire 45 minutes, evidenced by 15 ties and seven lead changes. Neither team led by more than seven points.
Both defenses were on point from the opening whistle. Neither team led by more five points in the opening stanza, as both clubs connected on less than 38% of its field goal attempts and combined to shoot 4-13 from three point range.
Cabrini also kept the Ospreys off the free throw line in the first half, as the Cavaliers built a slim 27-26 lead at the half.
The Blue and White used a 6-1 run early in the second half to extend its lead to a game high 40-33 lead, six minutes into the second half.
Despite tying the score five times in the final 10:21 of regulations, the Ospreys could not regain the lead until Alex Nardozaa's lay-up with 37 seconds to play put Stockton up two. Cabrini responded 17 seconds later, as sophomore
Tayler Holmes found Keys for the game tying lay-up.
Richard Stockton missed a shot at the buzzer, sending the game to overtime tied at 53.
The Ospreys took an early lead in the overtime period before Startare hit her first bucket of the night, a three pointer that game Cabrini a 56-55 lead with 3:52 to play. The lead was short lived as a Stockton bucket reclaimed the lead.
Cabrini's deficit swelled to three points when Startare found Peterson for her second triple of the day, evening the score with 1:53 on the clock.
The Blue and White secured a defensive stop before Decker hit Startare for the game-winning three pointer with 1:03 to play. The Ospreys scored the game's final points before Cabrini ended the game.
Cabrini held Richard Stockton to just 33.9% shooting, including 4-12 from three point range. The Cavaliers also outrebounded the Ospreys 42-36.
Three Ospreys (7-3) scored in double figures, led by Sara Farrell, who paired 13 points and six rebounds while playing all 45 minutes. Nardoza and Lauren Alwan added 12 points each.
The Cavaliers will face No. 6 Scranton (7-0) on Thursday at 5 p.m.
