GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Cabrini men's golf team continues to seek its first win of the season after today's 5-4 loss at Gwynedd Mercy.  The loss drops the Blue and White to 0-9 overall and 0-4 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.

Cabrini fell behind early, as it won just one of the three doubles matches.  Sophomore Colin Kilroy and freshman Mike Halbherr teamed for the first time this season and earned an 8-4 victory at number three doubles.     

The Cavaliers also claimed three of the six singles matches.  Junior Sean Neary improved to 2-1 in league play with a 6-1, 6-1 win at number three singles.  Brothers Joe and Mike Halbherr earned their first singles victories of the season.  Joe, a senior, posted a 6-2, 7-5 win at number five, while Mike, a freshman, scored a 6-2, 6-4 victory at number six.

The Blue and White will return to action on Wednesday, when they host Division II Philadelphia University.  First serve is slated for 3:30 p.m. at the Dixon Courts.
