CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Cabrini men's soccer team continued its run of alternating wins and losses today, as the Cavaliers scored a 2-0 win at DeSales University. The victory improved the Blue and White to 3-2 on the season.

A.J. Bishop inside the 18-yard box for a one touch shot into the back of the net. Despite outshooting the Bulldogs 13-5 in the opening 45 minutes, Cabrini carried a slim 1-0 lead into the halftime break.
Cabrini doubled its lead in the 59th minute, as Bishop found his way into the scoring column for the second time in the match. The sophomore's 14th career goal came off a pass from fellow sophomore
Channing Shiffert, marking Shiffert's first career point.
DeSales created several scoring chances in the match's final 20 minutes, including a header that bounced off Cabrini's cross bar. Junior goaltender
R.J. Pino was up to the task, recording four of his eight saves in the final 18 minutes, securing his second shutout of the season.
The Cavaliers attempted a season-high 22 shots in the win, including four each off the boots of Bishop and fellow sophomore
Bobby Kane. Jimenez added three shots on the day.
Alex Peek fired three shots on goal for the Bulldogs (1-3-1).
The Blue and White will look to build a win streak on Saturday, as the club travels down the Blue Route to Chester, Pa., where it will face Widener University (2-0-1). Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
