RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini women's soccer team battled two opponents at Edith Robb Dixon Field today, the Catholic University of America Cardinals and the heat. While the Cavaliers fought through the temperature, the Cardinals proved to be too strong. The Blue and White fell to 1-2 on the season after today's 6-0 loss to Catholic.
Cabrini fell behind in the ninth minute as Catholic's Kaylre Greaves scored the first of her two goals on the day. Despite being outshot 10-4 in the opening 45 minutes, the Cavaliers stood firm and trailed just 1-0 at the half.
Catholic turned up the pressure after the break, putting the game away early in the second half. The Cardinals netted a trio of goal in the opening 10:09 of the second half.

In addition to Greaves two goals, freshman Nia Gomez posted a goal and an assist for Catholic (4-0).
Cabrini continues its four match homestand on Tuesday when it hosts Eastern (1-1). Game time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
