RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini women's lacrosse team made its reservation for Saturday's Colonial States Athletic Conference championship game with today's 18-6 semifinal win over Marywood. The Cavaliers' eighth consecutive win improved the club to 13-5 overall.
The top seeded Blue and White will make their 18th CSAC championship game appearance in the 19 years of the program. Cabrini will play for its fourth consecutive title and 14th in program history on Saturday, when it faces the winner of tonight's second semifinal, pitting number two seed Neumann against third seed Immaculata.
Senior
Lacie Doubet etched her name in the history book tonight, as the senior broke Erin Nollen's career scoring record of 221 goals (2007-10). Doubet posted nine points on six goals and three assists, closing the day with 224 career tallies. The nine points also mark the second highest scoring total of the senior's career.

Melissa Scanzano added six points on three goals and three assists, to go with her three ground balls and two caused turnovers. Junior
Sarah Carzo also recorded a hat trick and secured five ground balls.

The Cabrini defense was in total control, as the club caused 18 turnovers on the day. Freshman
Jackie Neary caused four miscues and secured three ground balls, while senior
Megan Decker forced three turnovers and scooped five ground balls.

Megan Barlow earned her 13th victory with five saves and four ground balls.
The Blue and White took control of the game in the early minutes, as Scanzano found Doubet for the game's first goal at the 27:40 mark. Cabrini netted a trio of women-down goals, as five Cavaliers scored in the opening 10 minutes to put the club ahead 5-0.
Carzo completed her hat trick midway through the half, while Doubet posted three goals in a span of 2:25 midway through the opening half. The senior's record breaking goal came as the final of her mini-spurt, rattling the net at the 10:12 mark.
Doubet added a pair of assists, finding Scanzano and Lasater, as Cabrini extended its lead to 13-0 at the halftime break.
Means and Doubet connected in the opening minutes of the second half before the Pacers got on the board with 25:35 to play. Breuning, Doubet and Scanzano extended the lead to 16-1 midway through the final period, while goals by Lasater and freshman
Sara Johnsen interrupted Marywood's late scoring run.
Freshman Sam Bussinelli and senior Dana Grossjung scored two goals each for Marywood (8-9), while freshman Lauren Smith tallied 18 saves in the loss.
