Box ScoreRADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini women's tennis team improved to 3-2, 2-0 in the CSAC following today's 5-4 win over Immaculata.
The Cavaliers won two of three doubles matches, before the rain forced the match to be relocated to the Radnor Racquet Club.
The Blue and White fell 8-6 in number one doubles but rallied to win the next two doubles matches. Seniors
Nicole Broccolino and
Tori Yeich posted an 8-6 number two doubles win, while sophomores
Maggie Javitt and
Stefanie Barkofski notched an 8-4 number three doubles victory.
In singles play, senior
Terra McHenry won her number one singles match 6-0, 7-5. Broccolino followed with a 6-4, 6-2 number two singles win.
The Mighty Macs managed to take the next two singles matches. With the pressure mounting, Barkofski secured the match victory with a 6-4, 6-1 number five singles win.
The Cavaliers are on the road Tuesday, as they head to Reading, Pa. to take on Alvernia (0-0) at 4 p.m.
