READING, PA. - The Cabrini women's tennis team fell to 3-3 on the year, following a 6-2 loss at Alvernia today.

The Blue and White got off to a hot start, winning two of three doubles matches. Sophomores Stefanie Barkofski and Maggie Javitt notched an 8-5 number two doubles win, while sophomore Kimberly Pepenella and freshman Serena Cooper won their number three doubles match by default.

In singles play, it was all about Alvernia, as the Crusaders won all five matches.

The Blue and White will step back into conference action on Friday when it travels to Aston, Pa. to face Neumann (1-1, 1-0 CSAC) at 4 p.m.
