SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Cabrini men's soccer team put in some extra work this weekend, as it played Widener University to a scoreless tie at the Swarthmore College Garnet Classic. Today's 110 minute affair came just one day after topping the host Garnet 2-1 in overtime.
The Blue and White complete its first week of the 2015 season with a 2-0-1 mark.
The Pride kept the Cavaliers off-balance, outshooting Cabrini 28-13, including an 11-5 advantage in the second half. Widener also earned 11 corner kicks to just two for the Blue and White.

Bobby Kane accounted for three shots each, with two of Kane's attempts marking half of Cabrini's shots on goal. Junior

C.J. Serratore recorded four saves to secure the shutout.
Cabrini will return to action on Wednesday, as it welcomes DeSales University (2-1) to Edith Robb Dixon Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
