GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA – The Cabrini women's volleyball team suffered its third consecutive loss today, falling to defending CSAC champion Gwynedd Mercy 9-0.

With the loss, the Cavaliers fall to 5-5 overall and 4-2 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference, while the Griffins improved to 8-0 overall and 5-0 in league play.

The Blue and White fell behind early, as it could not find its rhythm in doubles play.  Cabrini lost the numbers one and two double matches 8-1 before a 8-0 loss in the number three flight.

The Cavaliers looked to change their fortunes in singles play, but could not overcome the Griffins. The Blue and White dropped all six singles matches in straight sets.

Cabrini will look to change its fortunes on Friday, as it welcomes Clarks Summit (1-7, 1-5 CSAC) to the Dixon Tennis Courts.  First serve is slated for 3:30pm.
