RADNOR, Pa. - The men's tennis team fell to 0-6 on the year after today's 9-0 loss against Ursinus.
In doubles play, Ursinus controlled the action, as the Bears won all three matches. Sophomore
Alijah Broadnax and junior
Sean Jaeger managed one set win, before falling 8-1 at number one doubles. The Bears matched 8-0 marks in second and third doubles to take a 3-0 lead.
Broadnax opened singles play with a 6-2, 6-1 defeat. The Bears won the next three singles matches in straight sets. Freshman
Nick Scaramuzza suffered a 6-2, 6-1 loss in number five singles, while Ursinus completed the sweep with a straight set victory in number six singles.
The Cavaliers travel to Gwynedd Valley, Pa. on Friday to take on Gwynedd Mercy, who currently sits atop the CSAC standings with a 3-3 overall record and 1-0 conference record. The match will be played at 3 p.m.
