GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. - The men's tennis team dropped to 0-8 on the season and 0-2 in the CSAC after today's 8-1 loss at Gwynedd Mercy. Junior Sean Jaeger and sophomore Alijah Broadnax opened the day's action with an 8-6 number one doubles victory.
The Cavaliers dropped the next two doubles matches by matching 8-0 scores.
In singles play, it was all Gwynedd Mercy, as the Griffins won all six matches.
Despite the loss, Broadnax fought hard in number one singles, before falling 6-7, 6-4 and 6-8. Jaeger also put forth a valiant effort in his number two singles match, before dropping 6-7 and 0-6.
The Cavaliers host Rosemont (0-6, 0-2 CSAC) in a CSAC match at Dixon Courts tomorrow. Match time is set for 3:30 p.m.
