RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini women's tennis team saw its three match win streak come to a close today, as the Cavaliers suffered a 9-0 loss to Stockton University. The nonconference loss drops the Blue and White to 3-2 on the season.
The Cavaliers struggled to find their rhythm, as they dropped each of the three doubles matches.
The Blue and White could not turn the tide as the action turned to singles play. Stockton swept the numbers one through five singles matches by straight sets.
In the number six flight, sophomore
Lexi Douglass went the distance, taking her superset to a tiebreaker before falling 9-8 and 7-5 in the tiebreaker.
Cabrini will look to regroup as it returns to Colonial States Athletic Conference play on Friday, when it welcomes Neumann (0-4, 0-2 CSAC) to the Dixon Tennis Courts. First serve is slated for 3:30pm.
