RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini men's tennis team fell to 0-2 in its fall schedule with today's 7-2 loss to Arcadia University at the Dixon Tennis Courts.
The Blue and White battled through the three doubles matches, scoring one of the three possible points. Senior
Sean Jaeger and junior
Alijah Broadnax earned a tough 9-7 win at number one doubles.
Freshmen
Matthew DiMaria and
Charles LaMantia fell short 8-6 in the number two flight, while sophomore
Nick Scaramuzza and freshman
Christian Ridenhour lost the number three match 8-3.
The Cavaliers tried to reverse its fortunes in singles play, but managed just one more point. Broadnax scored a 6-4, 6-2 number one singles victory. Cabrini suffered straight set losses in the other five matches.
Cabrini will close its fall season on October 6, when it hosts Penn State Berks (1-1). First serve is slated for 3pm at the Dixon Tennis Courts.
