PHILADELPHIA –
The Cabrini women's tennis team fell to 5-3 on the year after today's 9-0 loss to Division II Philadelphia University.

The Rams took control of the day's action early, scoring victories in all three doubles matches.

Senior Elena Conway and junior Maggie Javitt suffered an 8-0 loss in the number one flight.  The teams of junior Stefanie Barkofski and freshman Lucy Travers and junior Katie Muska and freshman Lexi Douglass suffered matching 8-2 losses in the numbers two and three doubles matches.

The Blue and White could not reverse its fortunes, as the focus turned to singles play.  Cabrini dropped each of the six singles matches in straight sets.

The Cavaliers will return to Colonial States Athletic Conference play tomorrow, as they host Marywood University (5-2, 4-1 CSAC).  First serve is scheduled for 12 noon at the Radnor Racquet Club.
