Radnor, PA - Men's tennis picked up their second victory of the season this afternoon with a convincing 9-0 sweep of the Albright College Lions.
Senior Alijah Broadnax took No. 1 singles by a 7-5, 6-3 decision to improve to 3-2 overall on the season. Sophomore CJ Lamantia picked up a close 6-3, 7-6, 7-4 victory in his return to No. 2 singles. Freshmen
Vince Paetow (6-1, 6-1),
Nick Falcone (6-0, 6-2),
Ben Mead (6-1, 6-0), and Chukwuma Duru (6-1, 6-1) all cruised to victory over their respective Albright opponents.
In No. 1 doubles action, Broadnax and Lamantia picked up the 8-3 match win, their first win as a pair this season. In No. 2 and 3 doubles, respectively, Falcone and Mead swept their pair by an 8-0 decision, while Paetow and fellow freshman
Tripp Como ended things with an 8-1 decision.
Cabrini will next travel to Reading, PA to take on Penn State Berks. Game time is slated to begin at 3:30pm.
