Radnor, PA - The Cabrini women's tennis team fell to the Jefferson University Rams this afternoon by a 9-0 final.
With the loss the Blue and White sit at 1-3 overall on the young season.
The Rams swept No. 1 and 2 singles to take the early advantage. Freshman
Suzanne Pica and sophomore
Lattana Sithara put up a fight, but ultimately fell to their opponents by a 6-2, 6-3 and 6-2, 6-2 final, respectively.
The visiting Rams claimed No. 5 and 6 singles over senior
Kimberly Pepenella and freshman
Katie Fiore by way of an 8-2 and 8-0 finish, respectively.
Doubles competition was highlighted by the duo of Pepenella and sophomore
Sydney Lynch, as the pair took two sets from the visitors, but would go on to lose by an 8-2 final.
