ST. DAVIDS, PA – The Cabrini men's tennis team opened its spring schedule with an impressive 8-1 victory over Eagle road rival Eastern University.
The Blue and White jumped to a commanding lead with a sweep of the three doubles matches.

Sean Jaeger and junior
Alijah Broadnax scored an 8-1 win at number one doubles, while freshman duo
Charles LaMantia and
Matthew DeMaria cruised to an 8-0 win in the number two flight.
The Cavaliers completed the sweep, as sophomore
Nick Scaramuzza and freshman
Nick Tilley combined for an 8-3 win in the number three match.
Cabrini carried its momentum into the singles matches, claiming victory in five of the six.
Jaeger scored a 6-2, 6-0 win at number two singles, while LaMantia added a 6-0, 6-0 triumph in the number three flight.
DeMaria and Tilley cruised to matching 6-1, 6-1 wins at numbers four and five, while Scaramuzza claimed an 8-1 superset victory.
The Blue and White (1-2) has little time to enjoy the victory, as today's action marks the first of four matches slated for this week.
Cabrini will visit Ursinus College tomorrow before hosting Albright College on Friday. The club will open Colonial States Athletic Conference action on Saturday, as it travels to Marywood University.
