RADNOR, PA - The Cabrini men's tennis team remained perfect in the Colonial States Athletic Conference with today's 9-0 win over Keystone College at the Dixon Tennis Courts.
The win improved the Cavaliers to 5-4 overall and 4-0 in conference play, while Keystone remained winless at 0-5 overall and 0-3 in league play.
The Cavaliers built a 2-0 lead before the first serve was recorded, as the Giants did not field players at number six singles or number three doubles.
The Blue and White rolled to a pair of 8-0 doubles wins behind the number one duo of senior
Sean Jaeger and junior
Alijah Broadnax and the number two team of freshmen
Charles LaMantia and
Matthew DeMaria.
Cabrini's rhythm continued as the action turned to singles play. Broadnax posted a 6-1, 6-1 win in the number one flight, while Jaeger, LaMantia and freshman
Nick Tilley scored 6-0, 6-0 wins at numbers two, three and five.
DeMaria completed the sweep with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at number four singles.
The Cavaliers will step up a level in competition on Tuesday, as it visits Division II Philadelphia University (5-4). First serve is slated for 3pm.
