ROSEMONT, PA – The Cabrini men's tennis team remained undefeated in Colonial States Athletic Conference play today, as it rolled to a 7-2 win at Rosemont College.
The victory improved the Blue and White to 5-0 in the CSAC and 6-5 overall.
The Cavaliers claimed two of the three doubles points, as junior
Alijah Broadnax teamed with freshman
Nick Tilley for an 8-4 win at number one doubles in the duo's first ever match together.
Cabrini's number two team of freshmen
Charles LaMantia and
Matthew DeMaria cruised to an 8-0 win.
The Blue and White completed the win, scoring five singles match victories.
Broadnax and LaMantia claimed 6-0, 6-0 triumphs in the number one and two flights, while DeMaria posted a 6-0, 6-1 win at number three singles.
Tilley claimed a 6-1, 6-1 in the number four match, while sophomore
Nick Scaramuzza earned a 6-2, 6-1 win in the number five match.
The Blue and White will return to the Dixon Tennis Courts on Saturday, as it celebrates Senior Day with a visit from Clarks Summit University. First serve is slated for 12 noon.
